| Details: | The tutorial shows how to populate a samle OLAP Analytic Workspace with dimensions and cube objects using Analytic Workspace Manager - Oracle AWM. The tutorial is based on a fictional business scenario (a computing company) with a model compound of 21 oracle tables. The learning guide starts with the design of a Logical Data Model (identification of dimensions, levels, hierarchy of the levels and fact measures). It shows how to set up Oracle Database, then install and configure AWM and create an Analytic Workspace, use templates to avoid making the same work twice or more. The final result of this tutorial is a sample Sales Cube loaded into the analytic workspace. |
